Well…no changes from last week. Ted maintains his #24 rating & Cody, despite his NXT victory this week, still was left un-rated

But NXT Rookie Husky Harris said he wouldn’t need 45 seconds to plead his case. The third-generation competitor took a page out of the book of his WWE Pro, Cody Rhodes, and shockingly attacked WWE NXT host Matt Striker, a move that garnered congratulations from Rhodes. Cody Rhodes def. Lucky Cannon in a Five-Minute Challenge While berating Lucky Cannon at the end of last week’s WWE NXT, WWE Pro Cody Rhodes told the NXT Rookie he’d be lucky to last five minutes with him. So this week, the WWE Pro put a determined Cannon to the test in a Five-Minute Challenge, meaning he didn’t have to defeat Rhodes, but merely last five minutes in the ring with him. But Lucky’s luck ran out before the five minutes were up, as the former Tag Team Champion dominated the match and defeated him in just 3:58 with a Cross Rhodes as the WWE Pros looked on.

Backstage, we see Virgil sitting in the lockerroom, bothered. Ted walks in, says he’s decided to “upgrade” & will no longer need his (Virgil’s) services…MARYSE WALKS IN & LATCHES ONTO HIS ARM!!! Virgil tries to talk Ted out of his decision & asks him what he plans to do about protection to which Ted replied,”go to go to the drugstore!” Ted was also supposed to face JoMo (Morrison) but he came out & said he had “better things to do with his time” & annonces his replacement is Zack Ryder. ———– Wrestlingheadlines.com reported this evening that in a dark match before Raw, Ted came out with Maryse as his valet…he defeated Goldust.

—CREDIT TO WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWSLETTER & WRESTLINGHEADLINES.COM— There has been at least some talk of bringing in Brett DiBiase to the main WWE roster once he returns from injury this Fall for the planned Fortunate Sons stable with Ted DiBiase and NXT Rookie Michael McGillicutty (Joe Hennig). Of course this would all depend on what happens between now and then, which could be anything. ————————- Ted dropped to #24 in this week’s Power 25 Ratings. Cody wasn’t rated, yet again…

Ted tried to brib Mark Feurestein into letting him go-gm the show Monday night by saying he would have a “shiny new car” waiting for him outside. Big Show came in, & Mark proceeded to tease taunt Ted. Big Show made the suggestion that him & Mark tag against Ted & Virgil. Ted accepted. Later on,Big Show & guest gm, Mark Feurestein, def Ted & Virgil in a tag match. Onto NXT…Cody berrated Mark Henry’s rookie, Lucky Cannon, after his loss…Henry turned the tables on Cody by saying his rookie could beat Cody. Naturally, Cody accepted the challenge. Next week, on NXT it will be Lucky Cannon vs Cody Rhodes.

Again, Ted was the only one ranked this week on Power 25…with Cody not being on tv lately except for the occasional Superstars match & now on NXT as a mentor, he’s not rated for the 2nd week in a row now… Ted drops to #23 on the list.

Ted wasnt in a match this week but he was involved in a storyline with Rampage Jackson, one of the guest hosts from the A-Team. Ted is confronted by my the A-Team b/c he was “suspected” by Rampage for stealing the Kings crown early in the taping…for those who missed, right after the 3 hr special got underway, Kings crown “was stolen.” IRS comes in wearing the crown & says King didnt pay back taxes on the jewels in the crown so he took it. Ted & co gas the lockeroom & kidnap Rampage. Later on, Ted & Virgil are in the ring with Rampage & handcuff him to the ringropes. Rowdy Roddy Piper comes out. Piper has history with the original “B.A Baracus” (Mr T), so the storyline implied that Piper teamed with Ted,Virgil, & IRS in abducting Jackson Monday night. Before Piper could touch Rampage, Cody’s Dad, Dusty, rides out on a golfcart with “Mean Gene” Orkerlund & A-Team co-star Sharlto Copley to rescue Rampage. Once freed, Rampage spinebustered Ted & chokeslamed Virgil.

Sorry its a few days late guys, was swamped all weekend & I forgot to post it… Ted stays at #18. Cody dropped off the list again b/c he wasnt used this past week:(
